Epson LabelWorks Standard Tape Cartridge (Black on White) (~1/2 Inch, ~30 Feet) (LC-4WBN9) Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful So darn expensive, June 12, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Epson LabelWorks Standard Tape Cartridge (Black on White) (~1/2 Inch, ~30 Feet) (LC-4WBN9) (Office Product) These work well, we love our Epson Label maker. The whole office is always borrowing it for labeling everything, files, shelves, wires, tech equipment, personal effects...
Unfortunately this means we use a lot of tape. It's like any other complimentary product: Gilette and the razor heads and HP with the Ink. They [violate / take advantage of] you on the refills. There's no reason these need to be so expensive other than the fact they're the only item that fits the machine. If we knew this when we bought the label maker, we would have just bought various avery labels for the printers in all different sizes, and printed labels on the computer.
The labelmaker is a nice convenience. Like any other convenience, you have to pay for it. These labels, not the printer itself, is where you pay for that convenience.
Also the text on the large setting comes out blocky like a 1980s font printed on a dot matrix printer.

This review is from: Epson LabelWorks Standard Tape Cartridge (Black on White) (~1/2 Inch, ~30 Feet) (LC-4WBN9) (Office Product) They do exactly what they're supposed to. The split backing peels off easily and the labels go on with no problem.
Great product, no A/C adapter or batteries included though, May 27, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Epson LabelWorks Standard Tape Cartridge (Black on White) (~1/2 Inch, ~30 Feet) (LC-4WBN9) (Office Product) My wife bought this for work. This label maker works well, and has a whole lot of options. It comes with a sample of label tape, so you'll want to order tape separately. It runs on A/C power or batteries, but quite oddly the A/C adapter is not included. She's using batteries, but having no A/C included is a huge mistake on the manufacturer's part.
